I could take a hammer to my computer.

I was about 75% of my way through a good blog post, and my freakin computer freezes. Post not saved. SO MAD. Therefore, I'm going to do a quick run through of what I had written about.
- Nursing school. January 19th. I'm terrified. Nervous, intimidated, relieved, stressed, anxious, excited, scared, so many emotions. Wish me luck, I'll need it,
- Moving home in a week and a half = leaving my job = :( I will miss these kids and Jay and Steph a lot. They will be a part of my life, forever:)
- Thanksgiving and my birthday were spent in Moreno Valley with Troy = best boyfriend ever. Love love love him = best family ever. Love them. I was so nervous to spend a whole week with them!, but it went so so good, and I had so much fun. It was perfect
- Back in the U.S. of A. Obvi. I'm glad:) Although I had an AMAZING trip and wouldn't take it back for the world, having a dryer, dishwasher, SpAcE, etc...is very nice:)
- Troy and I went to London. Go there. Best weekend of my life. Literally.
- All 3 sistas will live at home in precisely a week and a half. I'm excited:) It will be a good time.

just sayin

- for some reason it won't let me put more pictures lol...I'm still blog stupid. Peace and blessings.

100 things.

So I have decided to make a list of 100 things that I want to do before I die.

I have always wanted to do this, but have never sat down and wrote it out. I was reading online the other day about the show The Buried Life on MTV, although I have never watched it, I'm pretty sure it is about these four guys doing all the things that are on their "bucket lists". So that made me want to create a list of things I want to do!

Okay this thing won't let me add more pictures. Lol I think I might be the stupid one here, because I don't know why it would let me upload one and not anymore...???

Anyways, a few things that are on my list are: swim with dolphins, build/make a scarecrow, help build a house, and visit 3rd world countries and do service. What would be on your list???

I only have one more week here then off of fabulous California home I go!!! YES!

What makes your stomach growl?

Troy and I were talking about this the other day. Why does it make funny noises? Having taken anatomy/physio before I knew it had something to do with peristalsis, and I knew that chemicals were released and sent up to your brain to let your body know when you are hungry, but I wasn't exactly sure why.
After doing a little bit of research, I found out that this was just a result of this process(peristalsis, that is. Which simply are wave like contractions that move the food you eat down through your intestines). Because it is gases and air that push the food along, they sometimes are pushed together, resulting in sometimes loud, embarrassing noises. These noises are more frequent when you are hungry because there is more room in your insides, and nothing in there to surpress them.
I found a perfect example of this on the internet. Think about a pair of shoes in the dryer. So noisy if they are in there by themselves, but if you put some clothes in there with them, not as loud.
Have I mentioned that the digestive system is my favorite system in the body? Weird, I know. But it is SO interesting.

Okay I'm thoroughly annoyed with this thing. It won't let me upload any pictures. I feel like it has been doing this a lot to me lately, what the heck.
I was going to put a cool picture of the digestive system.
A picture of London, which I happened to go to last weekend. Cool, right? One day when I have a decent amount of time to sit down and give it the proper blogging time, I will.
Also, Tommy needs a hair cut. I put the back of his hair in a ponytail earlier today and took a photo of it...so funny.

                                  Happy Hump Day!

P.S. I'm obviously experimenting with the blog thing still lol. I'm lame and haven't even figured out how to do a background yet. One day, one day.

Thought for the day.

"Should there be anyone who feels he is too weak to do better because of that greatest of fears, the fear of failure, there is no more comforting assurance to be had than the words of the Lord: 'My grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them' (Ether 12:27)."

Happiness.

hap·py (adj. hap·pi·er, hap·pi·est)
1. Characterized by good luck; fortunate.
2. Enjoying, showing, or marked by pleasure, satisfaction, or joy.
3. Being especially well-adapted; felicitous: a happy turn of phrase.
4. Cheerful; willing: happy to help.
5. a. Characterized by a spontaneous or obsessive inclination to use something. Often used in combination: trigger-happy.
b. Enthusiastic about or involved with to a disproportionate degree. Often used in combination: money-happy; clothes-happy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So happiness. I have been thinking a lot about this lately. Not specifically about my personal happiness, just in general. I think that I used to be the kind of person who was critical about other's happiness. How rude right? Who am I to say or think that someone is "wrong" because their modes of happiness.
If having purple and blue and orange hair makes someone happy, who am I to think that is "weird"? If someone wants to have weird piercings all over their face or body, who am I to think that is "unattractive"? If someone wants to date someone that is not their "type", a lot older or younger, whatever, who am I to think that is "wrong"?
Happiness is hard to come across these days. Being happy isn't easy for a lot of people. Depression is on the rise. The sad thing about this disease is you do not know who it is affecting. It is easy to conceal, for the most part. (***this is not me confessing I have depression; these are just my thoughts***) Someone who you would think by appearance has the best life ever, yet at the end of the day they may be so unhappy and be lacking self esteem.
This makes me sad. Life is seriously too short to be anything but happy. Do what makes YOU happy. Do it now. (I don't mean this in a causing others harm way or anything lol)
I have come to realize that you will hurt people. You will let others down. This is all part of life. Sometimes people enjoy seeing you fail and enjoy seeing you unhappy. How rude and selfish! Being kind and loving is so easy, people!
I want to be the kind of person that thrives on other people's happiness. I don't mean by going around trying to please everyone, because I think general speaking, I am not a "people pleaser". I don't really care what people think about me.
Anyways, who doesn't love being happy? Shoot, I know I do. Whatever your form of happiness is, own it. Do everything in your power to achieve it and feel it.
I kind of talk in circles sometimes, but I hope this makes sense. What I'm trying to get at is just enjoy life. Let others be happy; no one should feel wrong for their happiness. To each their own. Be kind.

i'm.so.excited.

I can't wait to spend time with my family. I have the best parents and sisters ever. I'm so lucky.

I can't wait to travel more. I love to travel, especially going places that I never have been to before...

...like London! I can't wait. I never really thought I would actually be going there. So fun.

Birthdays and Christmas, obvious. I love holidays and spending them with the people I love.

circa 1994.

I'm just excited for life. That's all:)

Troy is here, yayy!

I'm a happy girl. Jay and Steph went to England this weekend to visit some old mission friends, sitesee, and just have a weekend away, so this weekend I am even more thankful that he is here. He is so helpful with the kids and it is so nice to have an extra pair of hands!

We made brownies the other day while Tommy took his nap. I couldn't help but let her lick the bowl and make a mess, then take a picture. She is too cute. She is getting old enough where she is so fun to hang out with; she has such a cute little personality(mainly when Tommy isn't around lol).

I can't believe that in 3 weeks I will be home! At the beginning of this trip I thought "2 months!!!?? That is forever. That will drag on." Blah blah blah. But I really feel like these past weeks have gone by pretty quickly. I can't believe it is already a week or so into October. I'm so excited for the holidays!

To Glee or Not to Glee?

So unfortunately I haven't been able to watch any other the new season yet, Ireland doesn't have it on basic cable and Hulu doesn't work over here! Oh well. If you don't watch it or haven't ever watched it, give it a shot...one episode! Even if you don't like it, you can't deny that it makes you feel good and happy.

I've always loved musicals and/or broadway. I really appreciate musical talent. Whether it is playing an instrument, singing, dancing, singing whiiiiile dancing, I like it. This show is such. The characters are so funny and SO talented. I love Jane Lynch's role(the Cheerios coach, Sue Sylvester)...she is HIGHlarious! It's just a feel good show.

<---------- Uhm hello, another good reason to watch the show;)

*and below, is a shot from their Lady Gaga episode. How fun to get to dress up in those costumes!

*Side note: does anyone know how to add a video? A YouTube video?

I've heard some people say how they can't stand this show, how annoying it is, how they would rather poke their eyes out than have to sit a whole HOUR and watch this...okay, fine, Debbie Downers. What bothers me, is this show is about people doing what they love and sharing their talents. These people are incredibly talented and work so hard. It is a fun show! It makes people happy! Some people need to lose their attitudes and get over it lol.

ps Troy lands in Dublin in 12 hours. YES! so excited:)

Why don't I eat hot dogs?

Okay, so besides the fact that I threw them up when I was in like 5th grade, what else plays a role in this (easy) choice?

Hot dogs. An all American food? A must have at Costco or a baseball? Maybe. But not for me. I'll take a churro or nachos. I don't think I have had a hot dog since I was 10 or 11 years old. Taking microbiology back in 2007 finalized my decision to not eat them; not just because I thought I would throw up again from a bad experience, but because of what goes in them and how the animals are treated.

*Disclaimer: I know that every "cow, chicken, pig" farm is different. And not every hot dog necessarily falls under this category. No I don't eat red meat, pork, etc...but yes I eat chicken, and yes I am fully aware of the animal cruelty that goes on with them. That is a whole different post.*

Anyways, I'm sure you have heard that hot dogs are made up of the "left overs", snouts, bones, even their anus'. While sometimes that isn't true, sometimes it definitely is. Gross! They are mostly made of fillers, which is the left over meat of animals that they can not use(mostly meat that is directly attached to the bone). So you won't find thighs, breasts, legs, etc. in hot dogs. So they throw all that crap together, grind it up a little bit, add some seasonings and also sodium nitrite?! What the heck.

Sodium nitrite is a chemical commonly used for presevation and a color fixatative in meats(okay, the color of super market meat is a whooole different post as well).  This also is said to help prevent the growth of bacteria. Cool. It is also used in dying and bleaching fabrics, photography, in metal coatings, found in rubber chemicals, used in human and veterinary medicine, and is an antidote for cyanide poisoning.

This chemical is found naturally in most vegetables, it is an important neurotransmitter. I think I will stick to getting it naturally through my veggies.

Studies show that when you get too much of this chemical it can lead to migranes and even be a factor in human cancers. I think they should find something else to put in food to make it look better and last longer than something so hazardous.

I'm barfing. Have a fabulous Monday!

"Cracking your knuckles will give you arthritis!"

I'm sure we all have heard that or have been told that at one time or another in our lives. I have been thinking about this a little bit lately, because I realized that I pop my knuckes a lot. I thank my Dad for introducing me to this habit when I was younger. I tried to think back and remember when I started do this, but I have always cracked my knuckles for as long as I can remember.

A few years ago, when I took anatomy or physiology, I don't remember which one, we learned a little bit about this. Studies show that this "bad" habit will NOT lead to arthritis! I loved learning that and being able to say "nu-uh!" when people would warn me about getting arthritis. I also learned that the loud pop comes from the release of synovial fluid(which lubricates your joints). Makes sense.

I find myself cracking my knuckles when I am bored. I do it without even realizing it. It drives my Mom crazy. I think I will continue with this annoying habit; and not get arthritis, thanks:)

I'm trying to be a good blogger here.

Okay nothing has happened since yesterday, but I feel like this is a better way to spend my free time than facebook stalking(which I am actually bored of. I know, right??). So these are some things that just have been on my mind lately. I have been looking at a lot of random stuff lately, so yeahhhh:)

*Quilted black Marc Jacobs bag. Oh how I wish. I really would enjoy a nice black bag. Love.

*Disneyland. Easily one of my top 5 favorite places to be in the world. I went to Disneyworld in May(which was so cool), but Disneyland I just love! I'm sure that it is all festive and decorated right now, I want to be there!

*Eyelash extensions. Okay so Julie tells me I am silly for wanting these, and while I will admit my eyelashes are probably thicker than most, mine aren't that long. I love the way they look without any mascara on! Yes please.

*Sacramento Kings. Basketball season is just around the corner, yayyy! Even better, I'm moving home soon=cable=watching as many games as I can! So excited. I went to a few games last season, and I'm hoping that I will get to go to a few more this season. I'll be keeping my eye on the Oklahoma City Thunder this season also, they are a pretty young team, and I seem to like the coach. And I have to mention the Heat. I'm excited to see what happens with this team and their power 3. People seem to either hate them or love them, I am a D Wade fan for sure, and I do like LeBron. I just love basketball!

*Pink Macbook. My computer sucks, and I'd loooove to be able to iChat with the fam:) even though I do have a web cam and skype, it's just not the same lol.

*Nutella. K if you haven't ever had nutella, go to the store right now, and buy some. It is really popular here in Ireland, and I first fell in love with it when I was working at La Creperie in Long Beach a few years(??!?!) ago. It is fabulous on toast, crepes, marshmallows, basically anything.

* A girl can dream right?? :) I enjoy going on Mercedes website and creating my dream car.

*Hairs! Ignore that this is Paris lol, but can someone please tell me why my hair does not look like this??!

*I want to go skydiving again! And below, was at Ryan Rules' wedding. Love our family friends:)

*This whole layout this is throwing me off, so I'm just going to type where it lets me haha. Underneath, Julie and I are ziplining in Cabo, take me there.
*Here is me and some cousins playing games, and the family at Jenni's wedding in April? May? JUNE? Shoot I have the worst memory ever! My point is I have been blessed with such an amazing family, I love them! Immediate and extended. All 3 of us girls will be living at home come January, for the first time in 2 and a half years. At first I was not so excited about this, but now I am very much looking forward to it. It will be fun to all be together again, especially now that we are older and all get along:) My Dad will be in for a rude awakening as to remember what it's like living with 4 girls! He loves it.

***I realized that most of the things that I posted today are just that, "things". Ha. I promise I think about more than things that I want slash possibly need:) I'm going to make an honest effort to blog a few times a week. I think I won't make the posts as long, maybe just one thing that has been on my mind, a funny youtube video I saw, a movie I saw, a book I'd like to read, things like that. Wish me luck, byedeebye!!

Updation:

So I'm really trying to be a good blogger, and during the weekdays I basically do nothing because Tommy sleeps, but I have a hard time getting myself to sit down and do this. It seems to take me a while to do an entry, but whatever.

I'm still in Dublin, I can't believe I have been here for almost a month. During the week I pretty much stay around our apartment thing, we are in the middle of 2 little towns, so I will take the kids out to the park, or just for a walk, we all get stir crazy if we don't get out for a little bit.

A few weekends ago we went to the west coast of Ireland, and we stayed in a little "cottage" out in the country. It was 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, we all LOVED the space(our apartment is like 800 sq. feet. It is verrry small). We went to the Cliffs of Moher, which is easily the most beautiful place on this Earth I have ever been(not that I have been somewhere more beautiful not on this Earth lol). Luckily we got there before it started raining, so it was perfect. That weekend we traveled to other random touristy places, it was really fun. This last weekend we stayed close, Steph and I went out shopping on Saturday, and were literally gone for like 8 hours, Dublin has such good shopping! And anyone that knows me, knows shopping is a weakness of mine:) We went to a mall in Dundrum, which we had to take a bus, walk down Grafton St.(which is a really really cool street, kind of reminds me of San Fran because it has street performers and stuff, just much much busier than San Francisco, if you could imagine), then take a train thing, then walk again, all to get to this mall. So basically public transportation in this city was not well planned. So this mall is fabulous. It reminds me of Union Square(I think that is that one in San Francisco that is like 8 stories and you can see all the different escalators right above one another), anyways it is like that, just longer, and not as many stories high. They have some similar stores, Zara, Aldo, Urban Outfitters, etc. They don't have Macy's, Target, American Eagle/Hollister, things like that. So that was a good day, got some cute stuff and presents. The only lame thing is things are more expensive, the euro to dollar ratio is like 1:$1.30, and having to travel not by car is difficult with lots of bags lol.

Sunday I found a church building and was able to go. I loved it. It was an older building, smaller very diverse ward, but exactly the same:) I love how our church is so constant around the entire world, what an incredible thing. What other religion is like that? Stephanie was nice enough to help me get there, we had to walk about a mile or so to a bus stop, and it was only about a 20 minute bus ride- not bad. People were very friendly, and this one older guy made a big scene about how nice my teeth were and if they were real haha. It was kind of embarrassing, but it is definitely true what you hear about Europeans and bad dental hygiene, yuck. I was waiting for the bus after church, and this guy only a few years older than me probably offered me a ride home. He was very nice and gave me some recommendations of things to do in London(yes, Troy and I are going to London in 3 weekends!) We went over to one of Stephanie's coworkers house for dinner that night, he lives right around the corner from us so that was nice. Him and his wife are the nicest people, and they have 3 young boys that Ramona had sooo much fun playing with. The food was great, she made the most amazing broccoli/cherry(sherry?) tomato salad with feta cheese and hazelnuts, I don't even like raw broccoli or tomatoes that much, but that salad was delish.

Oh also this last weekend, Michael Buble had a concert at Aviva Stadium, which is literally in our yard. Its huge and a really cool looking building. They have soccer games I'm assuming there, and concerts(obviously), Anyways, both shows were sold out, they blocked off the streets around it, and we got a free concert:) Well we couldn't hear it thaaaat well, but a few songs I could make out, it was pretty cool though. There was estimated to have been over 100,000 people in attendance between both shows! Crazy. That is like the whole population of Redding, plus some hahah.

This weekend we are going up north to Belfast, staying in another cottage thing in the country, yayyy for space!:) There is a natural wonder thing up there called Devils Causeway which we will go see, and apparently the Belfast was where the Titanic was made, and was last ported at, so there are some museums up there with Titanic stuff, so I think we are going to check some of those out.

Troy comes a week from today, he gets in next Wednesday morning. Yes Troy(my boyfriend) is coming to Ireland to see me! How lucky am I??? I am so so so excited. Jay and Steph are going to England the first weekend he is here, so we'll be with the kids doing whatever the first weekend, then the second weekend he is here we are going to go to London! So fun. It will be such a good time I'm sure. I'm so thankful and excited for this opportunity we have to travel together and for him taking time out of his life to come hang out with me:)

I can't believe it is almost October, seriously! Where did this year go???? I'm turning 22 soon, boo. I start nursing school soon, unreal! I can't believe "life" for me is actually going to begin in such a short amount of time. The last 2 years of my life have been so carefree and I've basically had little to no responsibilites, so it will be an adjustment getting back into my study habits and having to prioritze again, but I am so ready. 2 and a half years of waiting is long enough. I can't wait to start nursing school and be learning again.

Some fun facts about Irish people/culture I have noticed:
-they call strollers "prams and/or buggys"
-they don't know the word "ornery"
-I don't remember if I mentioned J-walking before, but it isn't illegal here, so people will run out in front of you left and right. It's kind of funny
-they don't really tip
-no tax
-they think that everything is "huge" or "bigger" in America
-they call car trunks the "boot".
-Cricket, rugby, and gaelic football are very popular
-ice cream isn't popular. Like they don't/wouldn't go out somewhere just to get ice cream. (lame)
-they don't have outlets in their bathrooms. What the heck?!
-Friends is on tv all the time lol
-they don't drive till they are 17 or 18. I think 17 you have a provisional license
-Everyone, I mean everyone(women), wear scarves, tights, and some sort of boots.
-They don't say excuse me or anything when they are trying to pass you or accidentally bump you.
-they say things are "gorgeous" a lot. They use it in terms of something being a good idea, not in the way of good looking like we use it
-they say "cheers" a lot.

That's all I can think of right now, and when I say "they", I'm not generalizing or stereotyping, I'm just basing it off of my experiences:)

Cliffs of Moher.

Shopping! I look tired:)

                                  Uhm hello, cutest kids everrr!

That is all I can think of for now, hope everyone is enjoying the heaaaat back in the States! <3, Robyn

Recently...

things have been changing and a lot of things have been happening!

First: I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I have been here for almost 2 weeks, it has been quite the change! As most know, I am a nanny, and the family that I work for decided to come here for 2 months to work, and I was fortunate enough to get to tag along:)

This is the family I work for, I love them:) We get along great, and the kids are super cute. Couldn't ask for a better family.

This is me on the beach in Bray, Ireland. It is south of Dublin. The water is actually the Irish Sea...it was so beauutiful there and the town was super cute. Not as fast paced and busy as Dublin.

Just some random shots of different parts of the city. I love all the ornate architecture, the connecting buildings, and just how different all the buildings look

*The weather here is so unpredictable. Keep in mind that Ireland is an island, so it gets different currents coming from the different bodies of water that surrounds it. Anyways, it is never really too cold, I wear sweaters and jeans when I go out and am fine. It tends to be a bit windy. The clouds here are like none I have seen before. It has rained everyday that I have been here, but it will be sunny for about an hour, then you literally can watch thunderheads coming in from every direction, it will rain for about 20 minutes, then clear up again. Repeat 5 times a day. Luckily the rain isn't a hard rain, for the most part it is just a drizzle. The clouds are so beautiful and they move sooo fast. It keeps everything green here. Everyone either has an umbrella or some sort of rain pancho/hood with them at all times because even if there isn't a cloud in sight, that can change in 10 mintues. It's wild.

**Dislikes: The different currency(1 euro is about $1.30 or so, so we lose money). Smoking everywhere. Crazy drivers! They drive on the opposite side of the road, and all the streets here are not marked well at all, luckily we don't have a car here so we rely on public transportation(which is big here). They don't really have big grocery stores here, they grocery shop multiple times a week. Sooo, we have a mini fridge in the place we are staying lol. I don't really dislike that, it's just semi hard to adjust to a different lifestyle(no dryer, dishwasher, or freezer either). And also, when you need a necessity(toothpaste, makeup, shampoo, etc...they don't sell those at the grocery stores like ours do. You go to a "pharmacy" and can but them there. Although the selection is verrry limited, and I did just spend about $6 on a tube of toothpaste. Rip off!

I have never been to a foreign country(other that Mexico lol, but that doesn't even count), so it is such an experience for people to be asking ME where I am from. Our cultures are very different, but luckily this is an English speaking country for the most part, so it hasn't been bad trying to get directions or help when needed. I am here until the end of October, I will try and be better about blogging what I am doing!

Second:
This pretty lady was in a horrific car accident. Sefiti is my grandma(married to my Dad's dad). She flipped her son-in-laws SUV a few times, luckily she was wearing her seatbelt. She literally scalped herself, almost lost an ear, broke her neck(no paralysis, thank goodness), broke her thumb, and lost the tips of a few of her fingers. Many stiches, staples, and surgeries later, Sefiti is finally home and recovering. Seeing Sefiti with no hair(as they had to shave her head to piece her scalp back together), hooked up to all these machines, and soo swollen she was almost unrecognizable, was surreal. You never think that these kind of things would happen to YOUR family; until they do. I am so thankful for the family that I have been blessed with, we all came together and supported each other. I am so grateful for this gospel and the power or prayer and the priesthood, to bring us comfort and strength in times of trial. Sefiti was in a medical induced coma for a few days after the surgery, but after she woke up she had and still has no memory of what happen. She says all the time "I'm just thankful to be alive." She was so strong through all of this, I admire her and love her and am so grateful we did not have to plan a funeral. She is so lucky that she only got the injuries she did. I know she had some people/angels looking out for her that day. She has a long road of recovery in front of her, but she survived! We are so grateful that the accident was not any worse than it was...WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT!

Third: This boy ----------------------------------------------> is Troy, and he is my boyfriend! He makes me more happy than anyone ever has. We have been friends for a few years, theeeen things just happened! It's great. I miss him terribly, but I am so excited that he is going to come to Ireland and visit me at the beginning of October...I'm sooo lucky:)

Last: As most know, I am finally starting nursing school in January(two and a half years later!!!)!!! I am so excited/ready/nervous. It will be interesting to go back to school and get back into the swing of things, since I haven't been in school in SO long! I've started getting shots, doing paperwork, etc, and when I get back from Ireland it is going to be crunch time with more shots, physicals, background checks, orientations, etc, so many things! I hope and pray that I get everything done in time and it comes together smoothly. I can not wait to get my life on the road again!!

Love you all, hugs from Dublin! --Robyn

What is on my mind as of late.

So I still can't figure out how to change the background on this thing...but I'm working on it. Since I want to have this blog, I'm going to try and update it as often as I can, even if nothing too exciting is happening in my life. Like right now. So I'll just write about random stuff that happens to be on my mind, or I have been thinking about lately.

A) Lake Tahoe. I have gone there twice in the past week, and it very well may be my new favorite place. I went snowboarding there once in high school, at least 6 years ago or so, so I didn't remember it at all. Plus I hate the cold. Anyways, it is beautiful! The lake is sooo clear and blue, has tons of these big rocks all around the lake and in it that you can jump off of and climb on and stuff, the mountains are so pretty that surround the whole lake, and the little towns that are around the lake are so cute. It kinda of reminds me of Family Camp and Shaver Lake, which is outside of Fresno in the mountains. I'd love to have a house in Tahoe someday.

B) Interior Design. I've been looking at random websites and whatnot just for fun, and I can't wait to have my own house to decorate it as I please. I'm loving the modern style, fun bright colors, bold patterns, simple, futuristic(?)-like. It's fun. Oh I love Home Goods. They have thee best lamp selection. Also wall art. Love.

**Okay I just love all these designs. I love the chandeliers(sp?), how low to the ground the furniture is, the colors. Everything. Divine. I would definitely need more counter space in the bathroom though:)

C) Ankle boots. I really really like the style and the look of them. Unfortunately I have awkwadly skinny ankles, so I can't pull them off...I don't know what to wear them with anyways, but I think they are the cutest things ever. I really want to own some, i just don't know if I could pull them off.

D) Ireland. Okay I'm leaving in uhmmmm 3 WEEKS??! What the. How am I supposed to pack my life for 2 months in one suitcase weighing 50 pounds or less and one carry on???

Okay, well that was fun. I feel like I could have gone on with more things, buuuut I'm kind of getting bored of typing and putting pictures up. Here is a list of a few more little things on my mind:
-I need to start running, stat. I've been saying I'm going to start again for weeks, but it's hard to get motivation!
-MAC concealer(concealor?, whatevs) has changed my life. Try it. Don't get the gel based kind in the glass thing though, that one is no bueno.
-This is what I love about Reno: the amount of sunny days(even if it is freezing), having a BJ's restaurant so close to my house(try it), and having a temple in town(even thought it is at the complete opposite end of town).

First blog everrrrr!

So sometimes I find myself blog stalking people, and I always have wanted to make one, it's just hard for me to sit down and actually DO IT, but here I am!

I'm unsure on what to do/not computer savvy, so it make take me a while to figure this thing out, how to customize it and put pictures on, buuuut I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

Today is Wednesday, August 4th. Where has the year gone?! This year I have been really fortunate to travel a lot with my job, and also out of pleasure. Just to name a few places I have gone so far have been: Seattle, Florida, Cabo, Jackson Hole...and 4 weeks from yesterday I am leaving to go to Europe for 2 months. Who does that??? I can't even explain the feelings that I have about it, I'm nervous/excited/hesitant....ah it's crazy. The family that I nanny for is going there and taking me along:) I realize and am very thankful for this once in a life time opportunity I am being given and no cost.

That is about all that's on my mind,

Robyn :-)
